Clearcoat is a small detail shop on Geneva Road in Orem, owned and run by Dallin Reeves.
The story
It started with a used Tacoma.
Dallin Reeves grew up in Orem. His first car was a well-used Tacoma with faded paint and an interior that had seen better days. He spent a summer bringing it back, one weekend at a time, and got hooked on how good a car can look when someone takes their time with it.
Word got around. Soon he was detailing friends' and neighbors' cars out of his parents' garage and learning paint correction on everything from minivans to weekend cars.
In 2022, he opened Clearcoat: a real indoor shop, one bay, and one rule. Every car gets his full attention until it's done.

How we work
Three promises, explained.

One car at a time
A lot of shops make their money by moving cars through fast. Clearcoat works the other way: one car in the bay, and Dallin works on it himself from start to finish.
No one else's car gets in the way of yours, and nothing gets rushed to hit a quota.

Paint check under shop lights
Normal daylight hides a lot. Under bright inspection lights, swirl marks, haze, and scratches show up clearly, so before any polishing starts, we look at your paint together.
You'll see exactly what can be fixed, what can't, and what it'll cost. No upselling, and no surprises at pickup.

Indoor, climate-controlled shop
Detailing outside in Utah means fighting sun, wind, dust, and cold. Hot panels make products dry too fast, and wind blows grit into fresh polish.
In the shop, the temperature and lighting stay steady year-round, so polish finishes cleanly and coatings cure the way they should.
